PSU: Wartechers what matters to you Tech speed or Tech damag

Just want to see what the Wartechers out there feel is more important to them. My self personally as a human Wartecher I would say that im about a 60/40 Wartecher when it comes to how I play 60% being technique casting 40% Melee. So for me personally technique damage is more important that speed thus the Tech increase unit are more valuable to me. Right now I have a Gi / magic and to me that is more important than a me / quick or Har / Quick I just dont see taking any kind of hit to my Tech Points. Most Wartechers I come across are more melee oriented. So what is preferred out there? Im not talking about selling the units Im talking about if you wanted to keep a unit for yourself.

A wartecher that concentrates on tech is a gimped wartecher.

Tech unit, if any... right now I don't use either of those. Don't need a speed boost for anything.

I'd actually prefer a little bit of tech speed, in reference to healing... buffs... and debuffs. The -30 TP from Me/Quick is pretty insignificant in my view, since it can be recouped in later armor pieces along with Retier. The Gi/Magic would help with MST, but eh... I'm also working on more TECHNIC links so I'd be happier to crank those out with a little more speed.

Shimasaru, you haven't done the math here - or you haven't even tried it. Barring outrageous (44%+) Spears, using Dus Robado as a female human WT 65/10 is about 1200 to 3 monsters - provided I don't miss. Renkai, it's about 1400 to 2 monsters and 600 to another one. With Gi-technics at 11+, I can deal 1000-1200 in the same time to up to 6 monsters, and that's not counting elemental weakness - I think that 6 monster limit, plus the chance of an SE, counts for more than waving around my spear.

Hell, even using my friend's 50% Light spear, I do only about 1600 with Dus Robado to dark enemies in S-rank.

The nice thing about using Gi Technics for crowds is that it saves my spear PP for Dus Daggas, and my twin dagger PP for Jinren. So everybody wins! Except the monsters.

Incidentaly, I voted for hard power charge. When you do need to lay the melee smackdown, +160 ATP does not suck. In a headslot, I would say Me/Quick at high level, Sori/force at low level.

I don't have Me/Quick(yet) but, even when focusing on Tech, it seems like speed would win out, with a Majimra(or a Lidra for that matter) I'm well over 1000 Tech(Newman) so losing the 30 Tech at that point, or perhaps even the 100 from Har/Quick, is probably worth the speed increase, especially when you need that Resta to land as soon as possible.

Can't hurt to have both options available though.

i like melee and concentrate on a few spells, and resta to get the job done
