GC: Gripes about Episode 2

Personally I am dissapointed with Episode2. Luckily this is my first time playing PSO and I can fall back on Episode 1. I dont have the connection yet but i hope to have it by christmas. Anyway... The levels are somewhat lacking in Episode 2. VR temple is one of my favorites, VR spaceship's interior looks like it was hastily finished at several points and has a somewhat annoying repeating song. The Central Control Area has beautiful graphics, but I am dissapointed by the lack of size in it.[rant]When I read IGN's review I heard 6 levels! Seaside can barely count as a mini-level despite it being one of the best graphic areas in the entire game[/rant]. But my biggest problem area would have to be the Seabed Facility. While the level itself is quite difficult and will take you over an hour(stupid cheap Sinow Zoa ), its Olga Flow that is the real finisher. Olga Flow [2nd form] is almost impossible to beat offline without beating the difficulty above it.

Also, for us offliners, there are no quests to play, but that is understandable, considering there is almost no room to put in quests by various random NPCs. Why would someone want you to go into VR world for a quest?! Gal da Val and Seabed Facility are supposed to be uber secret so they are somewhat off limits(unless your client asks you to find bananas for them or something ).

Overall, alot of people have been around since Vers 1 on the DC, and if you did'nt build up hype for the game, you enjoy it for what it is. =)

I find your complaint about Episode 2 lacking. It definitely has much more complex and interactive areas than Episode 1 does. The graphics are nice, yes, but I think the overall experience of Episode 2 is new and fun. I'm guessing the reason there's no EP2 quests was because ST was concentrating on getting the game finished or didn't have time to develop them. Besides, you're not supposed to take most of the people down to Ragol that you do in the EP1 quests anyway.

Episode 2 is the bomb! The spaceship level is cool and has some of the best music. And the seabed isn't that bad. Two of the minuses would be the sinows and the somewhat lacking music. And Olga Flow is not impossible! All in all I like PSO Episode 2 and Episdode one about the same.

Heh, I think EP2 Seabed has some of the best music in the game

Episode two is fun, but was initially disappointing. When I got to the Seabed, I didn't think that was actually going to be the end of the game ..

.. I'd thought it was going to be longer. I've adjusted, and gotten over it.
