What the problem is...
As of now no one is really sure since it hasn't came out in Japan so if we do it may take 2 months + and I doubt it would be offline.

Battle Mode is highly unlikely.
Offline mutliplayer, or any form of split-screen multiplayer, is just about impossible for this game, though, given the current hardware and bad programming.
ProTip: To damage your credibility, simply call any of the Phantasy Star games "massively-multiplayer."
