Alright, so me and my friends are looking to get back into this game for some crazy 2 vs 2 offline play. Now I haven't played this since its release a while back and I was just wondering if it's worth it to go back and complete the Story Lines? Exactly what will I gain by doing so?
Insight into chars., some free-bee cards (talk to NPC between missions), more exp and something to keep you in the Game (boss battles).

So I can still obtain the majority of the cards without having to play storyline? Good to hear. Thanks for the reply, I was afraid this board was dead.

Seriously, end boss battle are well worth it. Controller throwing, screaming at the TV wonderful. You won't regret it. ;-D
he wont regret it until he breaks the controller. lol
Yeah the boss battles do rock. I also remember when playing Hunters mode, we played on a map that seemed miles wide. It was manic. I'm still playing it somewhat every blue moon.

I don't exactly understand what's going on in the game. I'm just shuffled from one random battle to the next and I've only seen 1 instance where a dialogue went on with some artwork and stuff. Is the plot really that basic? Everywhere you go, 1 enemy is waiting to battle.. then you just return to the Morgue for some praise and are sent back to another match. Escorting teams.. rescuing people.. = you see no actual plot or anything engaging. Does it develop more later on?
Talk to people in the morgue and try to match characters with opponents they appear to have a relationship with (ie Viviana and Memoru, Sil'fer and Break, etc.)
i have never actually seen all the plots but i did see the plot with kranz ~the plot where they talk about blitz and "the germ"~
