    Double Sabers are severly UNDERRATED. Why? Because people that use them, don't use them right most of the time, and other people see that and think they're an idiot. When used CORRECTLY, it's one of the most damaging weapons in the game.

    Fighs are designed for hitting multiple enemies, if only because of the doublesaber, but amazingly, all their weapons have AoE PAs.

    my point was that against one or two enemies, a fighgunner is more than well equipped.

    lol@FiGunners bein the most gimped vs. single enemies, when they can use a broken grinded machine gun

    FGs are a solid class, and are heavily overplayed, but are overplayed for a reason (Double Sabers?). FG has an answer to most situations. Big thing? Trap it with burn. Melee resistant? Own them with guns (and you have good ATP to back that) - twin handguns or a well grinded mechgun. Bullet resistant? Beat them down with melee weapons.

    It's somewhat similar to the PT, without the gimped stats - and you use more of the lighter one-hander/faster weapons compared to the PT.

    which is what makes for all the bad fighgunners. I meet morons who call themselves "double saber specialists" if I met them in real life I swear there'd be dead people.

    The ONLY downside to figunner, is the lack of PP redcution. HP/DFP loss is immatierial, and thier traps and weapon selction make them easily able to outdamageforte type. especially when you consider that there are ZERO area in the game with no melee resistant enemies.

    linear line on the colony...heck parum linear line the enemies are both melee and bullet resistant, so fighgunner misses out twice....I mean there are places where fighgunners are at equal advantage OR disadvantage...but there's a reason why you can change classes and reasons many of us recommend multi classing. FF/FG is a fantastic mix as all but your axe and DS skills are interchangable. and the FG can get a few extra bullets and be set.

    unsafe passage and fight for food? yeah, I guess you got me. With the megids, I sually stick to higher MST types for that run.
    But parum linear line favors Figunners (virus bullets).
