I've got one of the three on the 360 servers. Yes, you can grind it. Mines at 1. I'm a fighgunner but can use it, even tho its 11*... thats kinda the point. Real Hand Spear G exists on the game disc too aparently, but they wernt released like the hand gun G's.

So, right now, they are pretty much the rarest thing in the game.
