I hear that using the dual sabers and the claws can be quite appropriate to the task, what other stuff is recommended?

Whatever you'd use as a beast FF?

I think not, I'm kinda afriad of the axe, unless the numbers make it worth it.

AXE. NOW. And everything else, too.

Newman hunters shine the most when using low accuracy, high power weapons and arts and the least when using the exact opposite. So axes, swords, spears, sabers, and claws are your friends while low element twin daggers are your worst enemy.

LOL you guys didn't get the memo that using different classes of melee weapon and/or photon arts in appropriate situations is for noobs.

Get a spear, dus majarra, and start mashing triangle like everyone else.

The above method is an acceptable strategy as well. It fits perfectly into the low accuracy high power description.

Well I do rock the spear, so I'll take up those too.
Now it's gonna look funny to see get stuiff get smacked.
    Thanks for the info!

Just use whatever a Beast fF would, in fact you would probably be more stressed to do so with the negative aura that would be put off just being Newman fF itself so you have to "prove yourself" to not be glumped together with the other Newman fFs who are horrible and give them a bad rep.

Spear (Majarra, Robado post-AoI so train that one now), Saber (Spinning Strike), Sword (Gravity Break), Twin Sabers (Rising and Assault Crush, train for AoI) and Axe (Jaborga and Durenga post-AoI, train that too) basically.

Slicer in AoI may reduce the need for a majority of those though heh, it'll be interesting to see how that effects fF pallettes.

While trying to give off the "Nei" vibe is cool and all at the moment claws suck kinda bad even as a Beast fF, so they would be worse as Newman. In AoI this may change with the ATP Mod boost on some of the old PAs and the new single claw PA itself .
