Okay I just found this item yesterday. It's a synth'ing item, listed as an ore. Does anyone know what it is used to make? I found it in one of the Moatoob runs.

I'm just guessing a 15* item of some sort, like a weapon or some suit of armor. For the time being it will probably be something that takes up space in your PM storage.
Well waiting takes some of the fun out of finding a 15* item, but having it sitting in my pm is better than not having it at all.
Given that it ends in the suffix -line, I'm going to assume it will be used in synthing 15* Weapons or Line Shields. Time will tell.
