AotI: About new A-rank twin handguns?

As a Fighgunner I use my twin guns a lot. I've had my Arb Rega +6 for a long time, and even at level 84 I'm still using them because they're pretty. A 9* GRM twin is stronger, but not enough to make me want to use the ugly things. The new Tenora handguns look pretty good, but they use real bullets, which I don't care for. Didn't like them in PSO, don't like em now. No realism in my sci-fi kthxbai.

Ahem...anyway my question is, do the Kubara versions of Arb Maganna and such still have the bullet effect? Will the noise from them wake up the rest of the household when I play at night, like the Tenoras will? Most Kubara guns lack the effects of the original, but I wanted to know before I start synthing.

Call me weird, but I like the globs-of-photon-energy bullets better than noisy-hunks-of-metal bullets, as opposed to most people who are the other way around, so I'm very happy to hear this.

The Kubara version of the Tenora 8*'s (I have a pair and a pair of my fav twin handguns, Arb Hadocs!) don't have the bullet sound efx and they are black.

The sound effects of the guns aren't actually that loud so you don't have to worry about the noise. The noise generated by monster 'hits' easily muffles out the handgun noises which is really annoying as I'm sure everyone else loves the sound the guns make.

I synthed an 8* kubara Arb Bisoc - and was sorely disappointed that it didn't make the cool BANG BANG YOURE DEAD bullet sounds >_>
