More extensive test

Level 83 Newman, Acrotecher 3. No armor, no deband, no jellen, vs level 55 Deljaban. 91 DFP

Nothing Equiped: 129-141 damage taken
1* GRM Pit: 127-139 damage taken
4* GRM Girapit: 120-133 damage taken
8* GRM Pegita: 115-130 damage taken
10* GRM Dori: 112-125 damage taken

My conclusion? Never trust Kubara knockoffs, I predict SolomonGrundy is using a Doric and not Dori. Same theory applies to taking damage with a Shato since it's also Kubara

Nice results. Looking at that pretty much says the GRM Madoogs give more DFP depending on level/rarity.

I went and tested this with Shags and found similar results. A tiny decrease in damage as you go up in rank.

I am NOT using a Doric, but it looks like I might have been mistaken - I have a wand in the other hand, and it might have been set to the wand, rather than set to the madoog... I will do further testing today.

Very interesting. I'll have to test this out for myself on my AT. I just found a Dori too so that'll make it even better.

Maybe shadoogs and madoogs secretly increase a defensive type stat depending on their manufacturer.
GRM = Defense
Tenora = Evasion?
Yohmei = Mind Strength?
Kubara = Endurance?

Thats my theory.
