This update note mentions that from 1/1 through 1/11, we'll have the New Year's lobby. Not quite sure why they're mentioning it in advance, but the rest of this update's details go into effect 12/21.
The co-op mission, "Electronic Brain" will become available. Launched from the AMF Central Command field lobby, this mission pits you and your party against the corrupted AMF Central Command and its residents, including the Mother Brain.
In addition, new Photon Arts will be available for trade in the Moatoob GUARDIANs Branch. These include Ikk Hikk, Cross Hurricane, Renga Chuujin-shou, Choutou Kantsu-jin, Chuuei Jitotsu-shin, Bukuu Saien-zan, Absolute Dance, and Vivi Danga.
As is always the case with new missions and fields, these notes mention that new weapons, armor, and units will become available.
In addition, new decorations will be available at the Variety Shop in Clyez City, and new trade items will be added to the Casino exchange counter.
And though it's not mentioned on the JP XBOX update page, I'm informed that the description for the Photon Gacha will be fixed on the PC/PS2 servers, making it safe to use! The XBox servers will disable all Photon Gachas until the fix for the Gacha display is approved/applied.
