How do you make money?

Lately, with all the high prices S-Ranks, I've been saving for one or two weapons. I was wondering how others make their dosh?

I'm currently failing 7 Star Tenora Works Melee (Stelnium) boards for Catilium and Mot Walna. Making 850k on Catilium and 250k on Mot Walna. Usually 1 to 2 Catilium synth in a set of 10 synths. I made 6 million today with this tactic.

What do you do?

....ok scraping together hard earned money from missions and selling popular weapons just isn't cutting it for me.

Wow...just wow, 6 mil? That's 3 times as much as I've ever held, sooner or later though, people might get smart and do that to get their catillium. Unless it's still working for you, if so I've got to try making money that way.

i have friendS who have STACKS of 99999999 saved up >.<

some are REALLY lucky and get like 5 S ranks a day and sell them all, others are just really smart and take advantage over stuff.

oh and yea i have friends with stacks of meseta on the 360 ver.

the most meseta i have ever had for more than 5 min is now at 5 MIL! THATS IT T_T

Before the money issue goes crazy throughout the topic, everyone should say whether they're on PS2/PC or Xbox360, because the cash-flow is still quite different.

PS2 for me, I'm in the lower-class of financial stability <__> Bare-minimum.
Usually 1 mill or under, rarely 1 mill...
I don't really synthesize items to sell, nor do I synthesize for my own sake. So I usually just buy items. 90% of my income is mission rewards, the other 10% is a mix between enemy dropped meseta and the scraps I can sell at my shop.

If I really want to save for a decent weapon, It just takes me a few days. It's not a huge deal for me, I really don't care too much for the absolute highest grade equipment. I have a hard enough time leveling photon arts, class levels, and character levels to worry about my equipment 24/7.

same deal is for me, the only reason i have 5 mil right now is cuz thats what i sold my hyper vipers for! lol

then i get people who play like 3 times more than me making fun of my low meseta and bragging about all their rares >.>

i just sell items, mostly photon, and use the money i get from getting an S rank on a mission (not an S rank WEAPON, like the actual S rank)

Oh, in that case I should mention I'm PC/PS2. Just in case you're wondering, as amazing as it may sound, I've never had over 2 mil on my character. This is all due to the fact I'm rarely able to sell anything of much worth. At the moment, I'm farming Sakura Blast for Neiclaws. I've found that I can sell them for about 300k-400k rather quickly, however, they are rather few and far between.

Synth stuff, run missions, keep an eye on the supply/demand for certain items at certain times, camp trading forums, make whatever good deals you can (in good faith!), and don't spend money on an item before researching your need for it like crazy.

Edit: Oh! Nearly forgot the most important part! Don't worry too much about money! You'll notice that most of the best deals for items out there are for other items, not meseta. Meseta's not your most valuable commodity, but the actual items are.

Meseta is the sprinkling for good deals, makes them look nicer and just a lil bit sweeter.
