We're behind the JP servers in approximately 2 to 3 months in updates.
It's always been that way since NA/EU got PSU.
Even with the delay we don't always get everything that you guys get either...

The most I've ever had was 30mil. I just randomly found a burn resist and sold it for 30mil.
I'm on 360. I tend to give stuff away before I sell it, and if I do sell it, it's something I've just upgraded. I synthed a 38% Ice Fuma-hiken so I put my 26% ice one up for sale.
Most people on 360 I know that are rich are grinders. Namely, they sell popular 10/10 guns such as Arb Bisos, Magga Guins, etc. Right now Magga Guins are highly popular, easy drop from the Electronic Brain mission, etc. My friends made huge stacks of A+10 grinders when we all had 3 luck and boom.
It's a total gamble but you can turn 200,000 into a few million with a little(or a lot of) luck.
Just spam a mission that gives you alot of Meseta. When you can run S, S2 or at least A the meseta will be great.

I just get meseta from monster drops really. I can't remember the last time I sold something other than a Catilium or two when I needed a little meseta in a pinch...even then I keep around 25 in my PM's reserve.
I'm way too much of a pack rat...even if I find a weapon I can't use I still synth and keep it, so I don't get much money from selling stuff. =p

I only occasionally get good drops though >.> Sega hates me...
