AotI: What PM should I use to make a whip?

Like I said, what PM should I use for whip making? I have Armor, Ranged, and Tech, but I suspect that whips benefit most from a striking PM. Anyone know for sure?

Also, just a general note- I wish the item database had entries for base success rate, type of PM to use, and pure PM success rate for synthesizing weapons. Might be useful down the road.

a whip is a striking weapon so a striking bot would be best
