Someone tried to pull that on me changing a S Mugunruk from 777,777 to 7,777,777

But I figured it was a bogus price so I Double-checked to make sure my eyes weren't fooling me.
Almost bought it too, freakin' 7s throwing me off.

I keep all of my money in my common box, then just take enough with me to a shop to buy what I want. That prevents someone from drastically upping the price on me as a bait and switch. I recommend you do so with your money to keep from having this happen.

I put this in psu general so everyone would see it. NOT A RANT! Heads up when buying things that seem too good to be true. Ex: someone puts catilium in their shop for 250000 and change it to 2500000 at the last second when everyone rushes in to buy it. Its happened to me and quite a few other people, so dont be hasty, or they'll get ya.

I think this topic pops up everyday, and with each day the reported price gets higher and higher. Frankly, I don't see why people carry this much money on their character at one time anyway.

Yeah, a few weeks ago some incredibly intelligent person tried to switch a diad from 400k to 1.2 mil on me and thought I wouldn't notice.

This is a rather old trick as far as MMO tricks go. People did it in Ragnarok Online and I've seen similar things happen in Diablo II as well. Truly the lowest of low though, a Shop is supposed to be a source of integrity. A good shop always welcomes users with a smile and Decent prices !
