Still...Emo and Goth mean nothing when said alone. Let's use Goth as an example. Are we talking Visigoths? Architecture? Victorian/Edwardian styled clothing? The offshoot of Punk rock, and the styles that followed? The modern day metal scene? What the heck do you mean!? XD

Yeah, you can't really generalize Goth because there's many facets of it. It's a shame most only associate it with what I would consider the punk goth.

Emo is a term that also pisses me off because it's overused and is almost always used to ridicule or belittle someone.

I myself am a bit ignorant about the Gothic subculture, although I do wish there were some in my high school, instead, I get stuck with the gangsters and rappers. A Wapanese metalhead just won't fit in in that kind of environment.

But if there's anyone in PSOW I know of who knows his stuff about Gothic and stuff, it's Shadowdragon.

This isn't an argument about what's emo and what's not, or even the definition of the word. This is about trying to look dark and bloody and all that, yadda yadda.
