SEGAC- a company based in Japan that knows how to make and sell great games ....maybe
yes you can, free servers are illegal so no suport on connecting or anything that matters.

Hmmm i got an idea... how about a petition to sega? petitions are usually good, right???
Seriously though, has anyone contacted sega on this matter? they may be ignorant to the consumer's needs, but they aren't THAT ignorant.
on the private server yes, there are many, some on a specific gamers like germnan, there are others that require a new char to be made (this is basicly to play the game) and then theres the private server many ppl use, they have many ships each one with 2 blocks, the most avanced ship supports a very number of players, usually it has above 150, but it can be seen holding 200 players, then the other ships have like 30 to 50 players, from ver.2 to pso pc, gc, blueburst, the players are around. On 2008-02-15 08:02, strikershadow wrote:

saw the site forum, currently 450 players online.
Inferior because the admins actually give a damn? And considering that you only need to download one additional patch inorder to play it(and modify a .txt file with a simple two line copy/paste), I take it you're not too good at math.On 2008-02-14 23:52, Splash wrote:
As long as SEGA have their servers up, it is not "dead" yet.
And the private servers are very inferior compared to the official ones. Sure, there may be more support on it, but it's very glitchy to play on, considering how you need to download a lot of stuff to make it actually iron out a couple of bugs.
It's also not VERY glitchy. Yes, there are issues. However, they don't happen nearly as often as you make them out to be. The only really bad ones are the mag stat glitch, which can be solved by relogging after your mag evolves, and the unequip glitch, which all you need to do is relog to remedy, and even then, it's not particularily gamebreaking, just annoying. There are other glitches, but they're not bad enough to cause a huge problem, or are easily avoided.
Hundreds have tried. ALL have failed. On 2008-02-15 08:40, stevieWonderz wrote:

Oh yes they are. And yes, people have. No dice.Seriously though, has anyone contacted sega on this matter? they may be ignorant to the consumer's needs, but they aren't THAT ignorant.
hummm, then it would seem private servers are the only real option!
I understand this website is run through ign or soemthign, but would it be possible to make it a independent website so we can actually discuss private servers?
If you want to take the time to do something like that, go for it. You could also, as a simpler option, go to the server's forums to talk about it there.
