I have heard rumors that wearing high-star clothing improves the rate and quality of rare drops in missions.
Is there any truth to this, or is this just crazy superstition?

Like the black beast with weapons, no wearing certain clothes does not improve rare drops...

Eating too many Homemade Cakes makes your character fat.
Totally.
Unless Maya Shidow's the one making them...

Ok, sweet.
I am totally ditching the stupid Voloyal set and putting on something that doesn't make me look like I have dubious moral fiber.
Wearing the Voloyal set gets you more drops from players.
Supposedly.

The only thing that you can control which increases the rate of rare drops is your Daily Fortune (luck). You can also run GBR missions with the drop rate boost or find the Forest of Illusion missions. BOTH of these missions state the increased drop rates.
There is currently nothing anyone can do to improve the quality of rare drops.
In summation, other than your daily luck or certain specified missions, there is no way to increase rare drops. No room decoration setup. No clothing ensemble. No funny dance done at the beginning of each mission. No particular universe to run in as opposed to others. Etc.
I lol'ed out loud... i gives some player a rising strike too.On 2008-02-18 09:40, Retniwreven wrote:

if you set up your room with all items from the casino, and wear the Voloyal set, you'll get increased drops. Of course, the items have to be set up in a certain fashion. And, it only works at a certain time of the day. And everyday it changes depending on what race you are. Oh and male characters don't benefit from it at all, only females....
yeah, that sounds about right... lol
