Think of the new PM items as glorified PM food. They should give the same boost value as a S-Rank weapon.
PM Fighgroll: +40 striking
PM Bullgroll: +40 ranged
PM Techgroll: +40 TECHNIC
PMDefgroll: +33 armor
But yeah. Exactly as Ryna said, they're just glorified PM food.
They may be glorified but that would have helped me out instead of having to buy a crap-load of low rank striking weapons to feed to my bot.
