Thread: PSU and numbers

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, or if some of my fellow PSU fans have pointed it out before.

But one of the irritating things about the numbers in PSU is the displaying of em..

They display 1 mil like this.. 1000000 Why the hell?????? I have 40" lcd monitor , sitting 2 meters from the screen, but i still have to walk up to the monitor and count them.... ( do I need glasses you might ask.. nope i don't, tested that last year )

Why not use thousand, like this 1 000 000
it would be so much easier to c what number is standing there. .

Hope im not the only one anoyed with this.. I need sympathy.. lol ..

It's annoying, but I've learned to live with it. My parents both seem to dislike using commas and spaces between numbers so I've come to easily tell the number of numbers I read.

Yeah it irritates me a little too.

Even though it΄s just matter of looking more into it.
A little break between the numbers would make it easier to read.

I've heard of it leading to drastic mistakes such as pricing an Agito weapon for 4 mil instead of 40 mil simply because the person counted zeros wrong... I wouldn't mind such a change.

Heh. Well that's pretty obvious when putting something up for sale. 10 millions is the farthest left digit, and millions is the one next to it >_>

I agree, I always have to count the Zeros as well.

I hate to say it but it would be easier if their did something like...
    Wow's 1 gold = 100 silver, 1 silver = 100 bronze thing
    OR
if people would at least use abbreviations like 1k and 1mil more often

no it isnt , but working with sales numbers and statistics and not using this when the nubmers you are working on goes over 1 mil.. it kinda is useful.
