I took the heatsink off my CPU cause it was making noise, and now my CPU is making noise too and the computer won't start. What's wrong?!

where is the noise coming form on the cpu itself? And have you tried putting everything back together how it was?

nevermind, I placed the entire motherboard and everything in an airtight bag and weighted it down in an empty aquarium. It seems to do the job now.
