PSU-PC/PS2: What are the races you are all refering to?

Im confuse.. im playing offline PS2. and i keep on reading races like HuMar, fumar, Fonewm RAcast. i dont understand.. i only know BEAST, Human and cast. please explain what that is.

Actually, they aren't races at all. They are actually names of character classes from the PSO days. Each name refers to a race, class, and gender. The first two letters are the character class: HU is Hunter, RA is Ranger, and FO is Force. The rest of it is race and gender. (-mar means human. -new means Newman. -cast is for Androids) Female characters have an L on the end of their class name.

HUmar- Human Male Hunter
HUnewearl- Newman Female Hunter
HUcast- Android(or Cast) Male Hunter
HUcaseal- Android Female Hunter
RAmar- Human Male Ranger
RAmarl- Human Female Ranger
RAcast- Android Male Ranger
RAcaseal- Android Female Ranger
FOmar- Human Male Force
FOmarl- Human Female Force
FOnewm- Newman Male Force
FOnewearl- Newman Female Force
