PSO-XBox: why are you shuttin down the pso servers for xbox?

Petitions don't work on SEGA. If they did then the GC PSO servers would still be up. SEGA doesn't love PSO anymore. Let's just leave it at that.

You really think ST would give a crap? THEY WILL NOT BRING BACK THE SERVER IN ANY CASE!
You know, they don´t just shutdown games for no reason.
If money flow for the game is bad, then why should they waste time keeping the server online.
God...As much i love PSO. You just have to live with it. >.>

I quit PSO when Noobs Started Hacking it.Good Thing Their shutting it down,now they can put more time in PSU.Go SEGA TEAM!!!

It really won't do any good. There have been petitions made for every version of PSO before they have gone down, and the end result has been the same in each case: they don't bring the servers back up/ stop from shutting them down. Keeping the servers up is unprofitable for them, so in order to save the cost of keeping it up they are shutting them down.
It's just the sad truth: SEGA no longer sees any profit in keeping the NA/EU Servers of PSO up, so they are pulling the plug. Keep in mind it is a business they are running, if they make no money from something it is in the company's best interest to stop supporting it.

Why do people keep complaining about the servers being shutdown? Of course they aren´t going to bring them back, they will not make enough money to keep them running because there is not enough people playing PSO. In fact, many people who play games actually doesn´t even know that PSO exists. The only people that do know are us and our siblings. Some know but don´t like it. I feel like I´m the only one in my city that plays it.

I would like to think that a petition would work, but I am afraid that it would not. My biggest problem is my router letting me play PSO-X. I am having connection problems. It sux.

Say, what if they made an entire new PS game that combines the capabilitiea of PSU with the complexities of PSO?
