Theme Requests

As mentioned in the update thread, the new forums are running with a very limited number of themes to choose from (currently only three). We will be adding more themes in the coming weeks, and plan to base these on user feedback and requests. We know there are a number of users who would like to see some of the legacy themes recreated under the new system, and we're happy to accomodate those requests if we feel there is enough demand for them. In order to better determine which themes to create next, the following information would be very valuable:

• What theme do you prefer from the legacy set?
• What colors, if any, would you change or add to that theme?
• What qualities or features of that theme make it your preferred choice?

If you're not requesting a theme from the legacy set, then the follow information would be helpful towards creating a brand new theme:

• Which colors / combinations would you like to see in a theme?
• What qualities or features are most important to you in a theme?
• Are there any examples available of the type of theme you are requesting?

Everyone's feedback and criticism is important to us, but we do prefer the constructive kind! Thanks!

It's bright, visually light and appealing, and nongeneric. The current light option (Sky Blue) is very default-flavored. If that blue was a crayon, it would be "Predictable Blue".

• BlueBlack
• Would much prefer the original 'blue and black with white text' to return over the more recent version
• The simplicity of it, nice contrast between text and background, nothing bright/distracting, sheer association through using it for 7 years straight XP

Blueblack, same colors as it used to have, preferably shrink down icons and such or use the old ones, so as to conserve screen space, if possible.

I very much liked the way BlueBlack's colors worked, the current themes strain my eyes.

I also liked the blueblack; the blue was very vibrant and deep, and the colors flowed very well together. It might be nice to try a black with deep red themes, but finding the proper red would be tricky.

I'm really fond of this Mint Green. I'd like to request having something like just it, except replacing the green with purple ;o
