    Default Thread errors/Slow database?

This is the second time I've seen this, I didn't post the first time since I thought it wasn't that serious.
The forum shows that there is a new post by a user, but when you open the topic it isn't there. I'm not sure if it's just me, Internet Explorer 7, or the site itself but it happened this time in PSO Gen

    PSO Gen
    The thread with the problem
It shows a new post by Splash, and when I search posts by Splash I can clearly see the post there. If I go into the last page or click the newest post icon it shows Rob19's post being the last.

I'm using IE7, everything is set to default except the theme, and I've already tried the default theme. I've got screenshots if you need them.

EDIT: I think you guys had this problem before. Just looked again, it says 29 replies, and rob19's post is #30

I had the same problem! Same thing, too!
But when I posted, no Splash post before mine.

Posts seem to be showing up now thanks to Alex, but the forum software doesn't seem to be catching all the posts that make it into threads :/

That count is correct, because Post #1 is the Original Post, and therefore isn't included in the reply count. The last post in a thread will always be Reply-Count + 1.

The post by splash was #31 so something wasn't right.

I've noticed that the forum has been slow at specific times of day. I plan on looking into that. As for the reply issue, I'll do some investigating. It may just be a caching issue with our server.

The reply is there now. No need to worry about it.

Not to say that the issue itself isn't something to look into

Sorry to double post, but there was a thread in PSO General that was moved to its sister forum, but there is a shadow topic still in PSO General that leads you to the sister forum. Looks like a weird error.

That is a topic redirect link. A moderator has the option of leaving a temporary redirect to the new forum. It is used in situations where people might not notice the move or think the topic was deleted.
