Advice on grindings?
Ok....I went to go grind some weapons. Ihad my Cast at 3* Luck and I was using S+10's. I had already gotten 2 weapons to 5/10. So i figured I was doing good...Until I went to grind a Mugunruk. It broke on the 2nd grind like 2 times, so I fed it to my bot. Then i bought another dark one, and it broke on the first grind....Is there any pattern that is used? I'm on the Xbox 360 if that means anything.
A few of us have a theory that only using +10 anything makes the item "used to it" so it will break. I don't know if agree 100% with that theory, cause I got a chao 10/10 like that. But I have found that if you start with like a +3 or +4 and then maybe a +8 then so on that you have a better chance. I got 2 10/10 chaos by using A+3, 4-A+7, 3-A+9, and 2-A+10. I also had a P-Wand that broke @ 2/10 trying to go into the 3rd grind that I only used +10s on

10/10 chaos aren't that big of a deal, S weapons have a better chance of braking...
I personally think it is all just luck, there isn't any pattern.
I have made 10/10 weapons using only +10s, and I have using a bunch of different ones.
Lower rank items are overated for breaking. I broke 4 pumpkinheads in a row, during the grind boost, with 3* luck, and only used C+10s

its all random.... like rolling dice on each grind. All these people who think that you have to have a set plan on grinding are wrong.
There is even a few charts around that show the odds of sucess on each grind.
If I find a pattern of grinders that works and stick to it I usually can get a lot of weapons up to decent levels with minimal breakage.
If I start using different grinders or move to a different shop( Yohmei hates you ) I start getting a lot more breaks.
Cheating is just an admission of personal inadequacy.

No, he's right, that is pretty sad that whoever did that has that much shitty luck. And he's only negative if you read his post from the...hmm..angle that makes it seem negative. You aren't liking your luck, so anyone with some nice luck that manages to accomplish something obviously is being rude to you. My grinding pattern is using a +1, then a +3, then a +6 or 7, then +10s the rest of the way. I also grind the first 2 on any day, even with no luck.
It's all completely random. I just wing it every time I grind something and use what I think is appropriate at the time (Meaning I have no grinding method or pattern whatsoever).
