not a fan of the outdoors but i loved when my parents took me to Laruay (sp?) Caverns here in VA. Driving up Skyline Drive has great views but kinda scary, mountain on one side and sheer drop off on the other

As dumb as I'm going to sound, I seem to have forgotten where the Appalachian mountains are.

East coast region, northern Georgia through southern Maine. Yes, its that big.

I've always wanted to hike, it seems fun and adventurous, yet dangerous and challenging.
