What do you do for fun in PSU?

Hey there, the sheriff over a specific fruit here, I am just wondering what little quirks, games, or general nonsense you all do in game to pass the time. I mean not all of us can run WB all the time right?

Today I ran up racing a lvl 33 FF through WB:B as my main(51 PT at the time) and he nearly beat me. One of the better times I had in my limited experience with the game.

I also went to random rooms and immediately ran out if I saw anyone, being the shy law enforcement officer that I am. It took me awhile to realize that the robot vendors are not people.

I just signed up last week and I am liking the game so far. This is by far the best MMO community I have seen albeit one of the smallest and I like it that way. Also I do not mean to bash White Beast at all I rather like the mission.

I can enjoy this game as long as I have some people to play with. The lack of content made many quit lately, so you might feel a bit lonely sometimes. But despite that, I always find this game to be enjoyable as long you do not have to play alone.

I break up the monotony of simple grinding with making smaller goals for myself. I don't worry too much about leveling and just find other reasons to play, and leveling comes as a consequence.

Example one: I made it a point to solo to every lobby in the game. (I've long since accomplished this goal, of course)

Example two: I try to make a trip to Casino Voloyal every day to collect the free coins. I do not use the flight service. If I miss a day I just make it a point to start the journey by 5:30PM so I arrive just before 7:00PM when the "day" resets (7PM here is Midnight GMT - so you can collect "Today's" and "Tomorrow's" coin allotment within a few minutes of each other).

Example three: I hit MAG' until all my bullet PAs were 31+ for the knockdown effect and all shotgun PAs were 21+ for the five-bullet spread. Quite lucrative for both EXP, MP and Meseta too.


Currently working on collecting enough materials to use up all the synth boards I unceremoniously shoved into my PM. I even made a spreadsheet to keep track of everything: Only need 519 Metaresin, 322 Kerseline, 119 Vulcaline and 67 Par Ebon! (and some other easier-to-get junk too). I refuse to buy any materials on principle.

As soon as I get my new job level up enough to survive S rank missions again, I'll resume hoarding PA fragments.

I've also been hoarding Zon and Gra photons just in case the Carnival ever comes to town. Not holding my breath on that, but I figure by the time it does I'll have about 20,000 Zons packed away (Only a slight exaggeration... I already have over a thousand and I'm not specifically hunting them...)

Some people hunt rare items but I find that depressingly slow going (eg: 67 Par Ebon?!) plus the rare weapons/armor seem only incrementally better than the not-so-rare ones so I'm content without them.

Just kidding. But anyway, I level my bullets in prep for the elusive Gun Master. I will occasionally hunt a rare if the urge hits me. For me, this game is all about sticking with the friends I've made and becoming one hell of a a gunner ^_^

Let's see... how do I have fun in PSU.

Well there's a few.

1: Kidnap new players. I know it sounds scary, but really, I give them fresh water and bread every so often so they don't starve... seriously though, some of the best times I've had have been showing new people around.

2: Find something old and make it new again. Players who have played on PSU for two years now have forgotten just as much as new people never knew LoL I've organized a scavenger hunt for locations all over the game, with a riddle as the clue. It has been good fun. (And 15mil for the grand prize winner ain't bad either.)

3: Don't do everything all at once. I still enjoy the game because I am far from having every item/PA level I want. I'm inching closer (I can only buy 1 more frag bought Striking PA before I own them all...) to having all my PAs, then it's up to leveling them.

4: Goof off. I spent 4 hours last night taking lewd IG pics in one of my guild member's room while they were offline and posted them up on the guild site. LoL It's gonna be hilarious when he gets on and sees them.
