GC PSO3 Manual?

Hi!
my Boyfriend and I are playing PSO ep3, offline, on our gamecube..storymode.
It's just that we bought the game seccondhand, so the manual wasn't with it.
atm we have to play separate since we can't add a seccond player to player 1's unit (party) in battles.
if it's possible, could someone tell us how to fix that? or if anyone could tell us where to find a manual online? it would be of greatest help.

I know this is my first post and that I could seem a complete n00b, since I'm not so into the PSO gameworld, but i figured this would be the best place to ask, instead of some random comunity forum that has a million games and more to be asked about. so I'm hoping for some help, from anyone really.

If you're talking about a co-op story mode, that's not possible, unfortunately (it would be cool, though). The only way to play with 2 people offline is to go to multiplayer mode and either team up with him and take on 2 NPCs or fight him.
