Gotdamn man, they need to make another one of these games. They were hard but damn they were good. It's like Metroid but you're pre-processed tuna a dolphin! Awesome gameplay back in the day.

I don't remember one for the PS2...is it pretty much the same as the Dreamcast one?

The original Ecco (and maybe even the Tides of Time?) is on the new Sega Collection coming out in February. Supposedly all the games are bumped up to 720p, full widescreen. I'm looking forward to it.
