Default Need Help: New to Weapon Grinding

    Greetings,

I've known about weapon grinding for a long time.
Thing is, I've never done it because of the penalties of failing a grind, and not knowing which grinders to use.
Sure is totally different from spamming Trigrinders XD

What is the difference between the grinders?
    I see grinders with different letters C, B, A, and S.
But beside that, I also see grinders with numbers from +1, to +10.

Do those make a difference with the stats added to the weapon?
Or does it only affect the success rate of the weapon getting grinded?

Plus is it highly recommended to grind only when you got Photon Fortune lvl3?

I'm planning to collect crazy weapons and fully grind them 10/10 (hopefully).
I don't want to make a mistake as silly as using 10 Grinder S+10 if you consider that a mistake.

    Thanks ^_^

The diffrence in what rank can be used with that grinder. For example A Grinder S can be used with A,B,C ranks. But A Grinder B can only be used with a B,C Rank. Grinders can only be used on Weapons that or less than or equal to the rank of the actual grinder.

The grinder number can be considered the rank within the rank of Grinder. 1 being the least likely to grind a weapon and 10 being the most likely.
Take reference to this page: http://psupedia.info/Grinding

Grinding Effects the stats and pp of the weapon. (depending on the weapon that is) For example Hikec/C from the casino, when grinded can be see that only the pp increases. But then again most weapons grind regularly.

No, grinding with higher grinders such as a +10 will not have any att or pp effect extra gained on the weapon, only its probability of success shall be increased.

It is extremely recommended to grind when you have Lv3 luck but it can be done on Lv2 also.

I find that when I grind Its good to start of low and work your way up. Start with a S+6-7 and work to S+9-10.

Remember that Grinding is a complete chance game. I advise buying multiple weapons of the same type while grinding so you dont end up farther back than when you started.

Somedays you end up 20mil lpoorer from buying S+10's.

It is also common to wait for a synth bonus to start grinding.

    Hope this was of Help.

    Thank you very much

So the letters only mean that the grinder can grind weapons with the same rank or lower, while the numbers add extra luck to the grinding's success rate.
And the letters and numbers have nothing to do with the stat increase.

    Correct?

    Also, what is synth bonus?

    Exactly Correct.

And A synth bonus is usualy given to us by sega when they either 1) make a mistake or 2) have it as a Event Reward

Not sure if one wil come some time during this "Winter Carnival"
