Need help with a multiplayer issue

My brother and I each have our own psp. We both downloaded the demo and are trying to join each others party. However whenever one of us hosts the party and the other selects join it does nothing...It says waiting for members to join.....

We are in the same room, so anyone have any suggestions? Do we still need to use ad-hoc or whatever its called? Are we going to need a ps3 to be able to play with each other, even though we are in the same house?

Make sure that both of your PSPs are set to the same channel, or set it to automatic. You can find that in the network settings in the cross media center.
