trust me i barely did anything in high school and graduate with N.T.H....and i am working in the lower gates of hades.

you can end up getting the best of scores and grades: it doesnt mean crap to life, god, or anyone with(or without) a pulse. for the record: i did try to go to college but with my luck i could not keep at it....now i am the point of wondering why i am even breathing still.
i dont believe in sanity clause anymore......

Be honest with your parents and with yourself. More important than your grade on this one test is the reason why you were unable to meet your expectations. Maybe you need to rethink your study strategies.

Also, my latest Theory of Life suggests it is a never-ending cycle of worrying about things and then realizing said things aren't really That Big of a Deal. So, there's my comforting thought of the day.

Well, you said it was a hard test, right? What made it hard? That could help you improve in the future.

As for the situation at hand, though, it'd be best to just show her the grade and apologize and explain what you didn't understand.

    What class was it, anyway?

DO NOT HIDE THE TEST! SHOW THEM IF THEY ASK FOR IT!!!

I have tried this so many times in the past when it came to progress reports, and I kid you not, when my mom found out about a grade or two of mine in classes that I wasn't doing so good in, I would basically have to bend over, and let's leave it from there...

If anything, a C really isn't worth too much trouble over, unless you have the parents that demand you strive for perfection...

just like, it's not illegal til you get cought....or in the case of drug dealers...til you get greedy. so, pretty much the lesson here is...tell your parents whats up, be like yo, i got a C...i was not great in school so, a C would have been acceptable by my parents. But then again, ive known some people that bring home B's and their parents bitch...either way, like a person above me said, man up and say, hey i got a C, but listen, i tried...or, i say i tried my hardest, and suck up to them, and say, i will try harder...good luck btw
