psu will not start (fixed) one final help needed

ok I had purchased the expansion for pc last year however i had put off installing it on my laptop since i couldn't find a controller with analog buttons, i have finally obtained one and now after installing it and setting my controller to it, I click network mode and the little box of choices witch i take to be the boot program just vanishes, I waited 5 minutes and the game never started.

it does this every time i try it. whats going on?

edit2: yep! that was the problem, i didn't install the direct x from the disc.

ok one final bugi need to fix.
i cant move my camera.
what is the settings for the right stick to set it for the camera?

I know i saw someone post a layout for ps2 shaped controllers once, can't seem to find it now.

ok, i think i found why, i didn't install the direct x program from the disk. luna on the forum says its a psu specific direct x program.
