The synth boost only affects synths made within the boost period. It doesn't matter if the board is in before or during the boost.
If you already made a synth before the boost, pulling it out during the boost won't make it more successful. It has & used the regular synth % of before the boost. Note: if you pull it out after the boost, it will revert back to the non-boost %.
