There are several reasons why you could have had that update. I won't elaborate on them. The update is nothing new from Sega.
Nothing is sacred. Not that it ever was.
You had the update for PSU because you popped in another game that required an update. Happens all the time. After you're done playing that said game that received more updates, PSU will say it has an update and download "something", even though there is no update. Lol. I've had this numerous times. As have others I've known. ;P
The only times we have had an update, was when we had a title update. Haven't had those in ages though.
