Been a couple of days and I still can't start it.

I been playing PSU:AOI for about a year or 2 and now I can no longer play it.

I simply start up the online.exe then click on Network Mode. After that, the GG comes up and, nothing (the game didn't pop up.) No error message as well.

I updated my drivers for my video card to the lastest.

Already uninstall the game and reinstall it. And as for DirectX I reinstall it as well.

Do I need to put the DEP on that specific game? (Couldn't understand the FAQ in Sega's forum.)

Its really strange because sometimes I can start it with no problem, and then after restart, nothing.

Anyone have any ideas?

Got it to work. Had to uninstall the blasted old Norton security.

How ever I may bump this if I get it again. If needed, mods can lock this...

Bump.

I installed the two programs from this topic (Link) , and somehow I manage to play it for awhile.

Till I restarted my computer I receive the same problem. Once the GG passes by the game will not pop up.

I have read that Commodo and GameGuard are not really good pals. Some get Blue Screen of Death when starting Linage2.

I uninstalled the two programs and I still get the same problem.

I need some help please.

Hmm...Have you tried running it as Admin?
It should automatically do that, but just in case it's not, have you tried?
Also, have you tried taking down your firewall settings?
And, have you made any recent upgrades to your pc, like update the SP version?
I have SP2 and it works.

I am using Windows XP.
I have updated SP2 (I think) to SP3. I also update alot of Windows update.
I also put the firewall down for a long time.



Could you tell me how to log in the admin. I don't know much about that.

You only have to do that for Vista.
I assumed you were using Vista lol.

Have you tried restarting in Safe mode, with internet and whatnot, and then seeing if PSU works in there?

Going to safe mode doesn't do much cause it block me from the internet and also put me in a very low resolution. I believe it also blocks me from starting any games. Every time I start it in safe mode it takes me to this which I could not read in safe mode. [Link]

Tried Safe mode with networking. Same thing. Although I thinik I saw the window flash for a about a sec.

This makes me want to get a new Harddrive and buy a Windows XP OS. ;_;
