Why can't they just bypass the Auth server until they get it fixed? While they are at it just use one of the old server pcs and install the Auth Server in the US.
If I can't login when I get home I'm gonna be pissed... It's been 5 days now and they billed me on the 24th, what a crock of shit. This event better get extended or a refund or something... haven't even been able to hunt the damn KE yet. FFFFFFUUUUUUU!!

Refund would be logistically difficult. My expectations are more event time, extension of STD rewards, droprate boost, etc. The extreme would be a couple weeks free to everyone.Originally Posted by kyle21

I don't see an extension for STD rewards because that would take an additional maintenance for the JP side to perform. As we've seen in the last dozen updates, they cram as much as they can into long spread out updates and want to avoid server updates as much as possible (the less work the better).
Instead, they'll probably extend the event by a week because it's the easiest way to compensate us without doing any additional work.
I don't see "freee" coming from Sega's pockets.

Just got 051'd as well, but logged on okay afterwards.
