Least favorite game Genres

Sports like so many others here are disliked by myself, although thats not always true as I do have a love in my heart for SSX3 and SSX Tricky.

Puzzle games are a no-go for me. Can't stand em. Yes, that does include tetris.

MMO's. There is a fine line between grindfest and reward-based gameplay. MMO's seldom get that right.

And...fighting games. I dont hate them, and there are a few I have genuinely been addicted to (Power Stone 2, heres lookin at you) but overall I just cant get into them.

I never got into the Power Stone games, but for fighting games, I've always mildly like Tekken.
Of course I loved Street Fighter back in the day, but now, I don't like the newer one :/
Same goes for Tekken. I don't see myself playing the new Tekken (6 I think?) when it comes out.

Sports & Racing games.

I like RTS games, but I'm no good at them. I could see myself liking Strategy RPGs like FF Tactics if it didn't so goddamned long to get through a battle.

First Person Adventures are also rather horrid. MYST is probably the worst thing to happen to the Adventure Game genre since DOOM.

Seems like Sports takes the cake for the most disliked genre.

As for me: Genres I dislike the most
Sports (I agree with just about everyone on this one)
Fighting Games, I just don't like mashing in buttons and remembering combos, etc.

Genres I like but suck at:
RTS, I love to have all night LAN parties with Starcraft, Rise of Nations, and/or Command & Conquer, but I suck at these games. I'm usually just a resource gatherer and I send all my resources to my allies before I get taken out.
Racing, I like playing racing sims but I suck at racing. Its so hard to not hit the walls.

2D fighters and most Platformers. Sports are iffy for me, depends on the sport.

Also, any and all SIMs.

FPS - Can't really get into them, most of my friends are into it, but not my cup of tea.
Sports - Yeah, pretty much everyone put this and yeah, I'll have to agree, just not my thing.
RTS - I agree w/ Raine, I'm not going to sit there and watch a war.

Sports and racing, with the exception of Mario Kart.

Halo. Can't stand the game, for whatever reason. I don't really go for FPS games in general, with the sole exception of Battlefield (specifically 2142, which I absolutely love. Support ftw)... I wouldn't say I hate FPS though, I'll occasionally play CoD or something.
