Easy. The Bakery gives you a quest that happens to be the only way that you can obtain one of the best Unit's in the game, the Compress PA. It's also worth a title, and the only way to score some of the unique loot in the game.

The Pizza shop only gets you a title and some unique loot.

The Bakery gets alot more questions on these boards, and there are alot of misconceptions about it. (Where to find it, how to activate the quest, what difficulty to do it in, the rewards, is it required for unlocking Super Hard Mode, etc.)

I can sum up everything you need to know about the Pizza shop in a couple sentences:

The Pizza shop can only be found in the Arca Plant or the Shrine. It will give you a title, as well as the chance to buy some unique items such as a slicer and an armor.

Yes. I guess that's pretty much the only thing I could add, but thats true of all the rare rooms. All of them only show up in dead ends, be it the bakery, the booma nest, the pizza shop, or the usanny nest.

Which is why I dont understand why everyone is so impatient about finishing the areas online without checking the rest of the map. One can only imagine the number of missed opportunities based on this alone.

i always check every room was more of a curiosity thing

agreed there is way too many people who are all impatient and wanna go strait for the boss i play alot of freeplay mode as the late hours i keep and about 80 percent of the time when i see the gate i turn around to clear the other rooms and then people start spaming lets go
