you do SH tower runs for a chance at rares. You do hard tower runs to get to SH. If you are trying to get exp, play with people online. As a group you can rip through SH w/o much trouble and get a lot exp. You may also want to add an x element to you weapon, if you haven't already.

i been doing runs on SH over and over again. plus i still searching for rares... still incredibly bad luck with finding anything
The best way to gain xp that I know of is to keep doing "To The Future" quest over and over in SH.
