Playing online on PS3?

I feel like playing PSP again, a couple years back I use to play it on PS3 using the Ad hoc party App. I just curious to see if any people still play it on Ad Hoc Party?

I wish you had posted about this just a few days earlier. I recently removed my PS3's hard drive for my laptop.

Last I checked, 99% of the players on Ad-hoc Party only played Monster Hunter games. I was the remaining 1% with a different game.

Just go to Playstation store and download the "Ad Hoc Party" app, PSN store has been crappy since the update so it is kinda hard looking up stuff but I am positive that it should show up.

Oh I almost forgot
When you succesfully downloaded the app you make a room and people will join in
When people join in you set the party
Turn on Ad Hoc on PSP and that is how you play
(It's been a while since I used the app but I am sure it went like that)

Basically the PS3 becomes like a mini server for the PSP, its pretty sweet

There is another thing that needs to be done. You have to have a hardwired connection with the router, can't be done if the PS3 is connected via wifi.

Edit: Thanks for letting me know about it, but it seems like they took it out. I can't find it anywhere on the PSN.

Have you checked the PSP Add-Ons section? It's located there.

They only have Vita, they did an update on the store and they took out PSP stuff, there is only Vita apps

That's pretty lame, especially considering the timing of your needing the app.
