Every DL mission has them as rewards for S ranking it (A rank on the tree boss mission is fine), any mission difficulty is fine.

Fastest are Dragon C and Gemaga.

Really? I've been running Gemaga for a while now, haven't gotten any Photon Boosters so far despite S ranking it many times.

Also can a beast find the magashi parts that are usable by a CAST or do they only drop for CASTS?

They come as rewards, as in they are given at the result screen and anything you get at the result screen tends to have horrible "drop" rates. Just keep at it.

He can drop it during the second half of chapter 9 when you fight him.

Sorry, I made a mistake. He drops them on HARD story mission 9. You'll still need to be patient though. If you're using the Japanese download file, you have a chance to get it in the Gemaga mission as well.

yea I was owning him with my lvl 88 Vanguard Cast in hard mode lol, but still he dont drop shit. Will try that Gemaga mission thanks again sir.
