V2 HELP!!! offline question

i have searched far and wide
i have heard stories of people playing offline multiplayer on the dreamcast v2 is this true?
i get contradicting answers i dont know what to do!!!!
i have the game and 4 memory cards

if you can get multiplayer how is it done? i cant find out where to go

There is NO offline multiplayer on the DC. There is offline multiplayer on the Gamecube. If you want to play multiplayer, you have to be ONLINE. While this may be upsetting, PSO is still a great game; I played my v2 until the game stopped working.

can you trade in PSO (DC) ver. 2?

If you're asking if there is a trade window then no.
That kind of trade was only implemented on ep1&2 for gamecube

To trade on ver.2, both players must drop the items and then pick them up, obviosly there is a high risk that you will:
- receive hacked items (use common sense)
- not receive the item you asked
- you will lose your items if the other player is greedy
