Recently saw a news story where policemen pulled over a man and heard meowing coming from his car. Upon looking in the back of the car, they saw a cat covered in oil and seasoned. The man stated that he was going to eat the cat because it was being selfish.

I'm pretty sure that guy was incredibly drugged up or something, but. Um. I don't even have to comment on that.

As for the original story, I'm not sure if that's worse than the people who just keep buying pets and then neglect them as they get older. Because I have seen instances of that, and often pretty gruesome ones (old dog becomes incredibly sick with pus pouring out of its eyes; owner doesn't take it to the vet because she doesn't care).

I have also heard of people who apply this concept (new pets = cute! old pets = ugh) to their children. There's just about no limit to how ffffffrazzled up people can be.

Honestly, this sickens me.
More so Tessu's story, than the original. (Though, they could fit together eventually).

One thing I hate seeing is animals getting abused, and people mistreating animals.
Now, I hate cats, but I still don't want to see them get hurt.

There's just nothing we can do about people's cruelty, if we don't see it.
I once cried at a commercial about abused pets. I was 12 or so.
Now when the commercial comes on, I change it.
Same thing with the little kids commercial. lol

Here is the story.
Girl has a cat for 4 years. Now girl wants a kitten.
Husband says no, you can only have one cat.
What does girl do? Ah well maybe I'll wait then. It is okay, I don't need a kitten.

Nah. What is this sane business.
Girl goes drop cat off a shelter. Then picked up a new kitten.

Well cats are not like dogs. They like to be approach slowly. You should just kneel down and let the cat come to you. If cat doesn't come to you, it isn't interested in you and you are better off going away than to be the creepy dude.
