Install on Storage

I'm assuming that it will make next to no difference, but can I get clarification as to whether installing the data, along side being on a storage media will decrease load times or not?

Isnt the install option on the PSP just if you have the UMD? I always download on my PSP PSN store then transfer to the PSP, so I presume that means its installed.

Well for some reason, even digital download copies have an option to install the game onto the memory stick. I tried it with my digital copy, but I noticed no difference in performance.

I think its only meant for physical copy.
Digital copy is an exact copy of the physical media.
