Frost Shot

I just want to know if anyone has found anything that redeems the Frost Shot as a worthwhile weapon (like in PSO). I can't figure it out... it uses 30% more PP (basically needs the 17% or 20% PP reduction from shrine), does 70% damage, only has level 1 freeze, and you almost need to use a module slot or a customize point for freeze resistance, if you don't already. Compared to even the 9* GRM rifle (Phantom) in ice element...

Am I missing something?

You could always try using an Extend Code, if you haven't already. Maybe you can get a Higher LV Freeze Stat. Other than that, I haven't found one myself yet, so I can't really say.

It freezes quite often, even with it being lv1 freeze.

Through comparison, it seems that the Frozen Shooter innately doubles the chance of inflicting freeze. Extending has no noticeable effect, though, but is still very worth extending, if you can get one as good as I did (45% ice)

Frozen Shooter also now known as 'Frost Shot' has an innately high freeze rate, even if its lvl 1, it can keep reapplying freeze lvl 1. To balance it out, it consumes more pp, and in fact has a shorter bullet range than normal rifles. I like the fact that it still freezes the user, its a nice throwback to PSO, I always carry one for support and nostalgia.

Anyways, using the Elemental Hit along with the Frozen Shooter is a must.

Oh... nice to know, I have found a few of those, but never used them because of low stats and Lv1 SE >_>
I did keep a good one for collection and mostalgia

Why oh why must whoever Sega had translate this game have messed with so much?

Especially since the Japanese name is still Frozen Shooter, like Standstill (Shield) and many more I will not list to save you the cringe effect.
