Best Whip PA?

Considering that whips can break the sound barrier they sure are slow in Phantasy Star games.Best whip pa is Vivi Dezza,the other two are too slow to use effectively with the chain system.

But Visshi Grudda is much better for applying SEs, the main point of whips.

I'm sure it's been said, but whips are good for their SEs, not their damage (although they can do well on some bosses).

There are a couple you should particularly look after:
Gigas Spinner, which has Stun Lv3.
Griena Cracker, which has Shock Lv4 (and can be extended to Stun Lv4).

Those two whips are really tremendoulsy helpful, and can be even in solo modes.

Not even then with the stun effect, (I have a gigas and use a extended dream catcher with stun 4). Its still lacking solo. Vivi dezza is the most handy whip PA to try and learn to work with.

Well, I believe you (I don't use whips at all), but with Lv2 stun/shock/sleep working so well on my guns, I figured Lv4 SEs would rock, even if the weapon is a lot slower ;s

I guess something important to note is you're not landing a whole lot of SE's if you're hitting too many zero's. :P

Yeah...

Even with the highest ATA in the game, it can be dire when the monsters are 30+ levels above you.
