Chatting Tips

Wow, I don't know what bug bit me or where, but I have been playing this game for 3 days straight.

So, question: is there a way to enter a space when chatting, without having to scroll all the way down the textbox for it? Is there an external keyboard that is compatible with this game? IS there a way to copy the previously typed text, like in PSU?

any other tips welcome

You should only chat when all Enemys at the Room you are, are defeated.

Unfortunately, the chat system in this game sucks, and there are no outside keyboards that are compatible.

It you're trying to type something that you feel you'll end up repeating, like "Use buffs!" or "Build Chain!", then set it as a pre-text command.

Hold Sqaure and press up or down to bring up the last thing you said. It only stores 3 though which sucks. also i usually press square then left to hit the space a lot faster. you just have to keep practicing to get faster. also just cut down words enough so that people still know what you are talking about.

To get to the Space Button quickly I tap Square and press Left to get to it.

I just stick to what ever is in my quick or auto text.
It's a pain to type something ,like " Want to do an open mission Rank A?".
I just hit " Where are we going", and have everyone else text.
Tip: You can delete quick texts and enter in your own.

It is pretty difficult to use the chat function here honestly if im running with those people a lot more then others id probably add them to my messenger service and just talk to them there,quickest thing I can think of.

My biggest beef vs this game is actually the inability to talk well.
It's totally prohibitive of actually meeting/getting to be friends with new people. So far, I've only played with friends (as you suggested, using a chat or a mssenger service). If I could actually talk/so could everyone else I think more people would get online with this thing more. I know I would. The people I play w/aren't always on, and you can party better if you can actually talk.
