need help on new character

i just started building up a Racast and Fonewearl, and just wanted to know the best ways to build them up in terms of how to feed mag and materials, and what is the prefered weapon of choice for both characters.

The conventional tried and true builds for these two are:

RAcast:

-80 power materials
-Mostly Power on your MAG. You might (once in a blue moon) need a tiny bit of hit if you're using some very low ATA weapons like slicers or low-end rares in SH, but you'll do fine with a 100 power MAG. Most people say "Oh, put 1 point there for Flozir, it's total overkill!", but, personally, I don't care much for PBs since stuff drops down easily already and my L button is broken. If your L button works, though, go for Flozir.

-weapons:
-Rifles w/ Mine sneak or Handguns w/ Flame hit/Thriller combo are excellent for melee resistant crowds.
-Gunblades w/ earth bullet are optimal for ranged resistant mobs. IIRC, as a RAcast, you'll have access to Frigiand, the strongest Gunblade in the game.
-Sabers w/ Zeta cutlass are an easier to find alternative to the Gunblade and are slightly faster for crowd control as well

FOnewearl:

-80 mind mats
-100 Mind MAG (but most people will say "put a point in that other stat for Flozir", you know the drill)
-Rods, rods, and maybe a wand w/ magical sign if you're tired of using techs or the techs you're using are too slow.
